The Basics<\/h4>\n[\/vc_column_text][mk_padding_divider size=”15″][mk_toggle title=”What is Clue HQ?” el_class=”togedit”]Clue HQ hosts various themed rooms full of clues, riddles, locks and puzzles. Each game challenges groups of up to six guests to use team work and initiative to escape within sixty minutes. It\u2019s a real life escape room.[\/mk_toggle][mk_toggle title=”What games are available?” el_class=”togedit”]We have a selection of games available. For more information about what each game entails, visit our games<\/a> page.[\/mk_toggle][mk_toggle title=”Who’s it suitable for?” el_class=”togedit”]Friends, family, corporate team building events, birthdays, nights out, stag dos, hen dos \u2013 anyone who would like to experience something different! Those over 7 years old are welcome, though we feel under 10s may find it too difficult. Those under 16 must have a paying & participating adult over 18 year old as part of their team.[\/mk_toggle][mk_toggle title=”What are your opening times?” el_class=”togedit”]We open for advanced online bookings only. Our opening times vary, so we recommend looking at our book now page<\/a>. This will give you a live calendar of what is available.[\/mk_toggle][mk_toggle title=”How much is it?” el_class=”togedit”]To find out our latest prices, please head here<\/a>.[\/mk_toggle][mk_toggle title=”How many people can go in at once?” el_class=”togedit”]We recommend 4 people, but we can have groups of 2 to 6. More people doesn\u2019t necessarily mean a faster escape![\/mk_toggle][mk_toggle title=”Will it just be my group or will we be with others?” el_class=”togedit”]Your game only takes place with your team – you won’t have players you don’t know in your game. We do start multiple games at the same time, therefore other groups may be waiting in the reception areas waiting to start their own game.[\/mk_toggle][mk_toggle title=”Are the games physical?” el_class=”togedit”]At no point is strength required through the game. Some things within the game do require physical movement but nothing strenuous. In some games, you need to be able to walk up and down steps or crawl. Click on ‘health’ on the escape games<\/a> page for further information.[\/mk_toggle][mk_toggle title=”I’m pregnant, can I join in?” el_class=”togedit”]Yes, in most games! There\u2019s nothing too physical and, at your request, we can put a chair in the room if you\u2019d like to sit down at any point. Also, you\u2019ll be able to leave via the entrance door at any time. Please ensure you check the ‘health’ section on the escape games<\/a> page which will have more information regarding the physical ability required for each game.[\/mk_toggle][mk_toggle title=”Locked in a room – is it claustrophobic?” el_class=”togedit”]It’s not common for guests to leave due to claustrophobia as the games themselves do have a bit of space to them. You can, however, exit the room (via the entrance door) at any point if you need to. If you are worried please ensure you let our Games Host know before you enter and we’ll ensure you’re comfortable during your visit.[\/mk_toggle][mk_toggle title=”Do you serve alcohol?” el_class=”togedit”]Yes, but only after your game. Under no circumstances are you to consume any alcohol before playing your game. If you arrive under the influence of any alcohol you will not be admitted or refunded. BOOKING & GAME EXPERIENCE<\/h4>\n[\/vc_column_text][mk_padding_divider size=”15″][mk_toggle title=”How do I book?” el_class=”togedit”]All bookings are made online, in advance. It\u2019s a live game experience, and therefore we are unable to accept cancellations and have a strict no refund policy. This includes when using gift vouchers from our own or 3rd party sites.
\n[\/mk_toggle][mk_toggle title=”How long should I expect the experience to last?” el_class=”togedit”]You\u2019ll receive a short briefing when you first arrive which should last around 5 to 10 minutes. The actual game lasts around 60 minutes (depending on how quickly and if you escape). Then the debrief should last around 10 minutes where we\u2019ll take a free group photo.[\/mk_toggle][mk_toggle title=”What time should I arrive on the day?” el_class=”togedit”]Our Games Hosts may be occupied with a game session should you arrive too early. Try to aim to arrive 5 minutes before your start time.
\n[\/mk_toggle][mk_toggle title=”What if I’m running late?” el_class=”togedit”]Try to give us a call (see here for our contact information)<\/a>, or e-mail as soon as possible to let us know. Even if you\u2019re running late we sometimes allow you to play with a reduced time limit. It is likely your game time will be reduced if you arrive late. Due to bookings after your time slot (and the reset time required) if you are more than 15 minutes late your game will be cancelled and you will not be refunded or rescheduled.[\/mk_toggle][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1544917355303{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]\n
