The week nobody plans for
Between Boxing Day and New Year everybody is at home, slightly bored, and eating cheese. It is the easiest week of the year to get a group together and the hardest to think of something to do.
A plan that suits a full house
Each room takes 2-8 players. Larger groups split across rooms and play at the same time, then compare times afterwards. We can take 37 people at once across the venue. Visiting relatives, teenagers and grandparents all work in the same room, which is more than can be said for most days out.
January without spending a fortune
Prices are for the whole team rather than per head, from £58 for a pair, so a full room is the best value.
It is an hour indoors that costs less than a round of drinks and a meal, which in January matters.
New Year resolutions, briefly
If your resolution was to see people more, this is a low-effort way to do it: one booking, one hour, no organising a group chat for three weeks.
