What it is good for
End of term rewards, enrichment days, transition days for a new intake, and the trip you run when the budget will not stretch to a full day out. It is short, it is indoors and it is the same experience whatever the weather does.
What the students actually get out of it
Teamwork, communication and problem solving, which is what every trip form says, but here you can see it happening. Students who are quiet in class are often the ones who spot the thing everyone else walked past, and staff usually say that is the bit they remember.
How a class works in practice
Each room takes 2-8 players. Larger groups split across rooms and play at the same time, then compare times afterwards. We can take 37 people at once across the venue.
A full class rotates: some groups play while the others do something else nearby, then swap. Tell us your class size and how long you have and we will work out the rotation with you.
Ratios, risk assessments and paperwork
We can provide a risk assessment and our public liability insurance certificate on request, and we are happy for a member of staff to visit beforehand to see the rooms. Staff go in with the groups or watch from outside, whichever your policy requires.
Our games are suitable from about eight upwards. Tell us the year group and we will tell you honestly which rooms suit it.
Booking and invoicing
We invoice schools, so nobody is putting a trip on a personal card. Prices are for the whole team rather than per head, from £58 for a pair, so a full room is the best value.
End of term dates in July and December go early, so book those as soon as the date is in the calendar.
