1. Clue HQ Malvern
We are at Ice Quest on Spring Lane North, with on-site parking and Malvern Link station about fifteen minutes’ walk away. Four escape rooms, sixty minutes, private to your group, and the best value prices of any Clue HQ.
We would say that, of course. Everything below is what our games hosts actually recommend when people ask what else there is to do.
2. The Worcestershire Beacon
The highest point of the Malvern Hills and the reason people come. On a clear day the view runs across Worcestershire and Herefordshire and out to the Welsh mountains. Allow a couple of hours up and back, and wear something sensible on your feet.
3. Great Malvern Priory
Over nine hundred years old and home to the largest collection of fifteenth century stained glass in any parish church in England. Free to go in, and quietly extraordinary.
4. St Ann’s Well
The café on the hillside above the town, in a building from 1813, with the Malvern spring water still running from a marble spout into the basin. Home-made cake, and the walk up through the woods is the point.
5. Priory Park
Landscaped in the 1870s and still the nicest flat walk in Malvern: a bandstand, a pond with ornamental bridges, and the farmers’ market in the Priory grounds on the third Saturday of the month.
Before you go
Opening times, prices and menus change, so check with each place before you travel, especially out of season. Our own games are advance booking only, so book your slot first and build the rest of the day around it.
