The 5 rooms at Clue HQ Warrington
Every game lasts sixty minutes and is private to your group: you will never be put in with strangers.
The Betrayal of Cluetankhamun: the first expedition into the tomb went quiet. Go in after the Cluetan Crystal, and find out what happened to them.
The Dungeon of Doom: a friend is chained up in a medieval dungeon waiting to be executed. Break in, get them out, and be gone before the guard comes back.
End of the Line: a hijacked train, a runaway track and about sixty minutes of rail left. Find the manual override.
Clueston: We Have A Problem: something has gone wrong a long way from home, and the fix is in your hands.
The Teleporter: step in, and hope the machine puts you back together the way it found you.
Which one should you book first?
If it is your first escape room, pick whichever story you like the sound of. They are all built to be finished by a team that talks to each other, and your games host is watching and will nudge you if you get stuck.
If you have done a few before, ask us on the day which is currently the hardest. We know, and we will tell you.
How many people, and what it costs
Four to six is the sweet spot. Two people can do it and it is a good date, but you will work harder. Above six, people start watching rather than playing, so larger groups are better split across rooms at the same time.
Prices run from £33 per person for a pair down to £25 per person for teams of five or more. Student and NHS discounts are available on games of three or more.
Getting here and parking
We are at 10 Crown Street, in the last archway under Warrington Central station. Come out of the station, turn left under the bridge, then left again. The bus interchange is across the road. If you are driving, use the street address rather than the postcode.
There is limited on-street parking on Crown Street. Cockhedge Shopping Centre behind us has plenty, and there are two pay and display car parks opposite Central station.
Worth knowing
Five rooms, more than anywhere else in the north west, and you can walk here from the train. Halfway between Manchester and Liverpool if you are travelling in.
We are advance booking only, so check the live calendar rather than turning up. Arrive about ten minutes before your slot: the clock starts on time, and a late arrival is a shorter game.
