Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your game starts so we can brief you and get you straight into the room on time. Late arrivals may lose game time as this may impact our next guests game.

We have a large forecourt with plenty of free parking right outside the door.

There is a large Airbnb about five minutes away, which suits groups making a weekend of it. We are also an easy stop off the A303.

No previous experience needed. Your game host explains everything before you start and is on hand with clues throughout the game if needed.

We recommend that our rooms are suitable for children 10+. Under 10's may find some of the puzzles challenging or out of reach. Children aged 16 and under must have a participating adult aged 18+ in the room at all times.

Our rooms take teams of 2-7 players. Larger groups can split across rooms and play at the same time, then compare times afterwards. Ask us about availability.

We run 3 games here: Captain Riddle’s Forgotten Fortune, Cell Block C and Detonation. Each room page has the story, the team size and the access details.

No. You can leave the room at any time. The challenge is to complete the game within 60 minutes, not to get out of a locked door.

No strength or physical exertion is needed in our rooms. There is seating available in each room if required.

We aim to make our rooms as accessible as possible. Check the access details for your chosen game, or contact us before booking and we will talk you through what to expect. We are also happy to welcome you for a pre-game visit to ascertain whether the access will suit your needs.

Yes. Escape rooms are a brilliant team activity, and we host companies and groups of all sizes by splitting them across rooms. Tell us your numbers and dates on the Team Away Days page and we will plan it with you.

Absolutely. December fills up fast, so book early. Use the Christmas page to tell us your group size and preferred dates.

Yes. An escape room is a great start to a celebration. Book two or more rooms to play at the same time and compare times afterwards. Please plan this early into your day as we will refuse entry to anyone who we consider to be intoxicated.

Yes, you can bring drinks bought on site into the room with you.

Each game lasts 60 minutes, plus around 15 minutes for your briefing and photos afterwards. Allow about an hour and a half in total.

Your game host is watching and listening throughout your game and will give you a clue when you need one. Ask for as many as you like, the aim is to have fun.

Yes, please do. We just ask that clips are kept short and do not give away any answers, so the next team still gets the surprise. Tag us on our socials and spread the word about Clue HQ. We will always offer to take a team photo afterwards too.
