Book online through our live calendar - choose your room, date, time and team size and pay securely. Bookings made before 10pm are confirmed instantly; after 10pm they are confirmed by the team first thing in the morning.

Prices are per person and get cheaper the bigger your team: from £33 each for two players down to £25 each once you are five or more. Students get 20% off with a valid ID (teams of three or more) and NHS staff get 10% off. See the prices page for the full table.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your game starts so we can brief you and get you straight into the room on time. Late arrivals may lose game time.

There is no customer car park at the venue, but there are several public car parks within a few minutes’ walk. Check the contact page for the nearest options.

No previous experience needed. Your games host explains everything before you start and is on hand with clues throughout the game.

Players over 7 are welcome; under 10s may find the puzzles difficult. Ages 13 and under need an adult in the room, and ages 14-15 need an adult on site. Check each room’s suitability before booking.

Rooms take teams of 2-7 players (Cluetankhamun takes 2-6). Larger groups can split across rooms and play at the same time - ask us about availability.

The Legend of Miyalock is a great first escape room. Every room page tells you the player numbers, the story and what to expect, and our games hosts are happy to talk you through the options if you would rather ask.

Most of our rooms are adventures rather than horror. The Hellevator has darker themes, smoke and flashing lights; the others are family-friendly with optional effects. Room details list any warnings.

No. You can leave the room at any time. The challenge is to complete the game within 60 minutes, not to get out of a locked door.

Our rooms are in railway arches with steps at the entrance and inside, so they are not currently wheelchair accessible. Please contact us to discuss your needs - we want to help wherever we can.

The Hellevator has additional restrictions for pregnancy and heart conditions because of its effects. Other rooms have optional smoke and flashing lights that we can turn off on request. Let us know when you book.

Yes. Escape rooms are a brilliant team activity - we host companies of all sizes, splitting larger groups across rooms. Tell us your numbers and dates on the corporate page and we will plan it with you.

Absolutely. December fills up fast, so book early. Use the Christmas page to tell us your group size and preferred dates.

Yes - an escape room is a great start to a celebration. Book two or more rooms to play at the same time and compare times afterwards.

Please don’t bring your own food or drink into the game rooms, but you are welcome to celebrate before or after. We are surrounded by bars and restaurants in the city centre and Jewellery Quarter.

Yes - drinks bought at our bar can go into the room with you. Our bottle bar sells beers, spirits, wines and soft drinks, and you can order ahead so they are ready when you arrive.

Each game lasts 60 minutes, plus around 15 minutes for your briefing and photos afterwards. Allow about an hour and a half in total.

Your games host is watching and will give you a clue when you need one. Ask for as many as you like - the aim is to have fun.

Yes, please do! We encourage photos and videos inside the room. We just ask that clips are kept short and don’t give away any answers, so the next team still gets the surprise. Be sure to tag us on our socials - and we’ll take a team photo afterwards too.
