What the games cost
Escape rooms are priced per person and come down as the team grows: £33 each for a pair, £31 for three, £27 for four and £25 each from five players up. A full room of eight therefore works out at £200.
The Portal, our escape arena, is £20 per person for up to 35 players, and runs about 90 minutes rather than 60.
Live prices and availability are always in the booking calendar. For a group booking we will quote you properly rather than making you add it up.
Working out what you need
Our escape rooms take teams of 2 to 7 and we run four of them at once, so up to 24 people can play in the same slot. The Portal takes another 35.
Up to 24: one wave across the escape rooms.
24 to 35: The Portal on its own, everyone playing together.
Up to 59: The Portal plus all four escape rooms at the same time. This is the largest group we can handle in one go.
Anything bigger runs in two waves, with the first group eating or drinking while the second plays.
Adding drinks
We have a bottle bar: beer, spirits, wines and soft drinks. You can order ahead when you book and take your drinks into the room with you, which works well as a welcome drink while people arrive and a round afterwards while the times go up.
Please note the bar is subject to opening times and may only be open when The Portal is in operation, so tell us your date and we will confirm.
Building a package
Rather than a fixed menu of bronze, silver and gold, we would rather build it around what you actually want. Tell us three things and we will come back with one price:
How many people, and roughly what time you want to start.
Whether you want drinks, and whether that is on arrival, afterwards, or both.
Your budget per head, if you have one. It is easier for everyone if you say it up front, and it stops us quoting you something you were never going to book.
Christmas and team away days
The same applies to a Christmas do or a team away day. We can put the games, the bar and the timings together and send it back as a single quote, and we are happy to work around a restaurant booking either side of it.
December fills from about September, and Friday evenings go first. If your date is fixed, get the rooms held early and sort the table afterwards.
Paying and invoicing
We invoice companies, so nobody has to put a team day on a personal card and claim it back. One invoice covers the games and the drinks.
We can also provide a risk assessment and our public liability insurance details if your organisation needs them for sign-off.
What is not included
We do not do catering. There is plenty within a few minutes walk and we are happy to suggest somewhere for the group size you have.
We also cannot take a booking for a group that arrives having already had a lot to drink. It is worth saying to the team in advance: play first, drink after.
